What is a code and why do you ask for one when I place an order or renew my subscriptions? |

A code is used to identify your order. We use the code to determine what prompted you to order. We ask for your code because it allows us to understand and improve our marketing programs. More importantly, codes allow us to provide you with special offers on our magazines, books, and products. |

Where can I find the code? |
| A: |
If you receive any type of mailing from us (catalog, letter, renewals, etc.), the code will usually be found above your name on the mailing label. It is usually preceded by the word CODE.
Example:
If you are ordering from something that did not come to you in the mail (ad, bind-in card, etc.) the code will usually found in the lower right hand corner preceded by the word CODE. |

Why am I getting an invalid code message? |

A code allows us to provide customers with special offers. Promotions typically have terms and conditions associated with them, most often an expiration date. Any promotion and its code may be discontinued at any time and without notice. |

How do I use my code on the Web site? |
| A: |
There are two ways to use your code on our web site. First, look near your name on any print piece you receive from us and locate your code.
Then, enter the code in the Code box at the upper right-hand corner on any page of our site. Click the Go button and continue shopping
OR, enter the code during checkout.
In either case, any pricing discounts will be reflected in your shopping cart. |
