1. Eligibility: Cricket's monthly subscription giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.  Employees of Cricket Magazine Group and its parent and affiliate companies are not eligible.  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Participation constitutes entrants' full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.  Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling requirements set forth herein.

2. How to Enter: Visit www.cricketmag.com and sign up to receive Cricket's e-mail by filling in all the required fields with accurate information.  You will automatically be entered into the Contest.  After you sign up, a thank you e-mail will be sent to you confirming your entry into the Contest.  Limit: Each participant may enter one time per valid e-mail address.  Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same e-mail address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrants entries and that entrant may be disqualified.  Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.  All entries become properties of sponsor.

3. Prize Drawing: Sponsor is the sole judging organization whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Contest and the selection of the potential winner is final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.  Sponsors will randomly select the potential winner from all eligible entries received each month, on or around the seventh day of each month at sponsor's headquarters. The potential winner will be notified by the e-mail address provided in the entry.  If potential winner cannot be contacted via e-mail, potential winner forfeits prize.  Potential winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these official rules.  In the event that a potential winner is disqualified, sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing among all remaining eligible entries.  Only three alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded.  Prizes will be fulfilled within two months after the conclusion of the promotion.

4. Prizes: A one-year magazine subscription shipped within the U.S. territoy of potential winner's choice.  Choice of subscription includes: AppleSeeds, Ask, Babybug, Calliope, Click, Cobblestone, Cicada, Cricket, Dig, Faces, Ladybug, Muse, Odyssey, and Spider magazines.  For prize: Prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the sponsor's sole discretion.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.  Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.  Where applicable, U.S. federal regulations require the issuance of a 1099 Form to the winner of any prize in excess of $600.  Total approximate retail value of the prize: $44.55.  Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entrants received during promotional period.  Limit: One prize per entrant.

WARNING: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operations of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law and to disqualify such entrant from the contest. In the event the contest is, in the opinion of the sponsor, compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of the sponsor, which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the contest, the sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend or terminate the contest, and conduct the drawing from entries received prior to the suspension.
