COBBLESTONE Celebrates 30 Years

PETERBOROUGH, NH—COBBLESTONE, the award-winning American history magazine, is making history of its own by celebrating its 30th anniversary. A year-long celebration is underway highlighted by two special issues: the 30 Greatest Americans (January 2010) and the 30 Greatest American Events (May 2010).

To create the commemorative issues, COBBLESTONE invited its readers to submit their picks for the greatest people and events in American history. It was an ideal way to see which people and events had the most influence on the magazine’s readers. The reader’s choices, plus selections from the editorial staff and advisors, will determine the final Top 30 lists.

Recipients of 2008 Parents’ Choice awards for excellence in children’s publishing, Cricket, Ladybug, and Spider magazines have been loved by children and their parents for decades for the quality of the writing and art included, as well as the many opportunities for budding young writers to submit their own work.
